- Bring the whole team: pricing is per workspace, not per user.
What lawn care software has to do
Quoting & measuring
- Remote lawn measurement from satellite imagery. Measures the lawn, beds, buildings or distances on a satellite map from the office (or while on the phone with the customer), subtracts areas such as the house, and saves the square footage to the property so a quote can be priced without a site visit. Not on Unstack yet.
- AI auto-measurement of lawn, beds and hardscape. Generates measurements of lawns, buildings, driveways and walkways automatically for a new property and carries them onto the quote. Jobber does this through a Deep Lawn integration that needs a separate Deep Lawn account; LawnPro sells AI measurement credits as an add-on. Not on Unstack yet.
- Price by lawn area (per 1,000 sq ft and price charts). Prices a treatment from the measured area: area / 1,000 x the per-1,000-sq-ft rate, plus a minimum charge. RealGreen keeps price charts that new sales are priced from; Arborgold has an autoprice calculator tied to its lawn measuring tool. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Customer self-measure and buy online. Lets a prospect measure their own lawn on the company website, get an automated quote and buy, with the estimate data kept for later marketing. Not on Unstack yet.
- Property inventory for pricing. Stores each property's attributes (turf area, bed edges, driveways, sidewalks, irrigation zones) so the right crew and equipment are sent and each visit is priced consistently; RealGreen pairs it with a labor-hour pricing calculator. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Optional add-on services on quotes. Shows suggested extras such as aeration, mulching, edging or fertilization as optional lines that update the quote total when the customer ticks them. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Automatic quote follow-ups. Sends email or text reminders on quotes that have not been approved so leads do not go cold. Built for you by the AI builder.
Recurring routes & scheduling
- Recurring visit series. Sets a service once at weekly, biweekly, monthly or seasonal frequency and generates every visit automatically, with the option to change the whole series or a single visit. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Visit spacing rules for recurring services. Caps the number of occurrences in a season, limits which days a service can run, and enforces a minimum number of days between visits so a property is not over- or under-serviced. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Rain-day bulk rescheduling. Moves a whole day's visits to another date in one action (optionally filtered by crew) when weather stops work, instead of dragging each stop; in the field, RealGreen techs can mark a stop not serviceable or reschedule it from the app. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Route optimization. Orders each crew's or technician's stops to cut drive time and fuel; Service Autopilot advertises routing of up to 10,000 stops. Not on Unstack yet.
- Route rules for truck capacity and applicator licensing. Builds batch routes that respect business rules such as how much a truck can carry and which technicians hold the license a treatment requires. Not on Unstack yet.
- Waitlist and bulk scheduling of sold work. Holds approved but unscheduled work (for example a season's aeration sales) on a waitlist and schedules it in bulk into routes by customer timing or location. Built for you by the AI builder.
- GPS crew and truck tracking. Shows where crews and trucks are in real time through the mobile app for dispatch and accountability. Not on Unstack yet.
- Online booking and work requests. A booking page or request form showing services, prices and coverage area that customers use to book or request work, which lands in the schedule. Install the Calendar & Scheduling template.
Treatment programs
- Multi-round fertilization and weed control programs. A reusable program template defines the steps, the service and chemical for each step and the days between steps; enrolling one or hundreds of properties generates every visit, each visit carries its step's product, rate and target pest and saves the application record when completed, and enrollments can be paused (upcoming visits held) or cancelled while history is kept. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Season renewals in bulk. Renews customer programs and services en masse at year end and creates next season's service records for everything active last season; Arborgold sends renewals by email and text. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Across-the-board price increases. Raises prices for existing customers and on the price chart for new sales in one run before the season starts (RealGreen's Price Increase and Price Chart Increase utilities; LawnPro's bulk price updates). Built for you by the AI builder.
- Condition codes that become recommended treatments. The technician records lawn problems found on the visit (insects, weeds); each condition carries a price and turns into a Recommended Treatment line on the invoice, and RealGreen can trigger portal upsells from conditions. Built for you by the AI builder.
Field app
- Crew mobile app. Gives crews the day's route, directions, property notes and customer details, and lets them complete visits, take payments and message the office from the field. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Crew time tracking. Crews clock in and out and time is recorded per job for payroll and job costing; RealGreen splits crew production by percentage between team members. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Before-and-after photos. Attaches photos to a visit or service; RealGreen can require a before photo before any service starts and print it with the invoice. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Visit forms and checklists. Custom forms and daily checklists completed in the app (for example a pre-route equipment check) so required steps and data are captured. Built for you by the AI builder.
Chemical application records
- Chemical product library with label data. Each product is entered once with form (liquid or granular), EPA registration number, active ingredient, signal word, restricted-use status, re-entry interval, SDS link, default mix and application rates, target pest and weather limits, then picked from a list when recording an application. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Per-visit chemical application record. Logs each application: date, start and stop time, property, product, mix and application rate, area treated, amount used, target pest, site, re-entry interval, equipment, applicator and company license numbers, plus technician notes and photos. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Weather at time of application. Records temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction with each treatment; SPRAYE logs weather automatically with every completed job, others have the technician enter it. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Post-application notice to the customer. Puts the products applied (and optionally weather) on the invoice or work order as a separate table, or sends a PDF application report after each completed step, to meet state customer-notice requirements. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Chemical usage reports for regulators. Summarizes materials applied over a date range, by job, for audits and state pesticide record keeping. Built for you by the AI builder.
Customer communication
- Visit reminders and 'on my way' texts. Sends automatic visit reminders and GPS-based arrival texts. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Customer portal. Customers log in to request work, approve quotes, see scheduled visits and invoice history, and pay. Install the Customer Portal template.
- Automated email, SMS and direct-mail campaigns. Sends seasonal promotions, renewal notices, prepay offers and upsells to customers and leads on triggers; RealGreen also prints and mails campaigns in-house and Service Autopilot targets neighborhood lead lists. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Automatic review requests. Asks customers for an online review after service. Install the Reviews & Reputation template.
Invoicing, prepay & payments
- Per-visit billing for recurring mowing. Bills each completed visit separately (for example $50 per mow), with an invoice reminder or automatic charge triggered when the visit is marked complete. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Level (budget) billing with season true-up. Spreads an annual contract value into equal payments (usually 12) while each invoice lists the services done that period; at close-out an Actual vs Billed view lets the owner send a final invoice, issue a credit or write off the difference. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Prepay letters and early-pay campaigns. Sends prepay letters and prepay incentive emails before the season so customers pay for the year's program up front; RealGreen's field app flags whether a service is prepaid and which years a prepay letter was sent. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Autopay from a card or bank account on file. Charges the saved card or ACH account automatically on the recurring job's billing schedule (monthly, after each visit, or on a custom date) and emails a receipt; failed charges are flagged to the office. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Batch invoicing. Creates and sends invoices for many jobs or customers at once, such as all of the month's mows. Built for you by the AI builder.
Reporting
- Job costing and crew productivity. Reports costs such as fuel and equipment against revenue to show job margins and crew productivity. Built for you by the AI builder.
- Contract profitability report. For each level-billing agreement, compares the value of completed visits with what was billed and shows profit or loss and margin, with counts of profitable and unprofitable agreements. Built for you by the AI builder.
Integrations
- QuickBooks sync. Syncs customers, invoices and payments to QuickBooks; often gated to higher plans or sold as an add-on (LawnPro below Plus, SPRAYE at $19.99/mo, Service Autopilot on Elite). Built for you by the AI builder.

Lawn care software questions
What is Unstack?
A workspace your business runs in: the software your team uses every day, plus a phone line, email, a website, a customer portal, payments, team chat and AI employees. Start from a template or describe how you work, and the AI builder sets it up. One price per workspace, with unlimited users.
Is there a ready-made lawn care template?
Not yet. You describe how your lawn care business runs, from how jobs come in to how you get paid, and the AI builder sets up the tables, pages and automations in your workspace. Change anything later the same way.
Can I manage multiple crew teams and assign services by specialty?
Yes. Tag each crew with what it does, such as mowing or fertilization, and assign jobs from the dispatch board. The builder can add a view that shows each crew's booked jobs per day so you don't overload anyone.
Does Unstack integrate with payment processors?
Payments run through Stripe. You can send invoices with a pay link and bill recurring service as Stripe subscriptions, so customers are charged on schedule.
Can I handle rain delays?
Unstack has no weather feed of its own. When you call a rain delay, a button can run an automation that notifies crews and texts affected customers, and you move the visits on the schedule.
Can I create recurring weekly or bi-weekly service schedules?
Yes. Store each customer's frequency and a scheduled automation creates the upcoming visits. You can move individual dates or pause a customer for the off-season.
Do customers see their invoices and service history online?
Yes. Unstack includes a customer portal where clients log in to view past services, upcoming appointments, and download invoices. They can also pay directly or request one-time services.
Can Unstack plan the most efficient route?
No. Unstack doesn't optimize routes. You can see the day's jobs on a dispatch board or map, group them by area and put them in the order you choose.
Can I track equipment maintenance and costs?
Yes. The builder can create an equipment table for hours, service intervals and repair costs, with an automation that alerts you when a machine is due for service.
