What a garage door workspace usually holds

The workspace brings the rest

Automations, phone, email, a website, a customer portal, invoices and payments, banking, chat, docs, version history and apps for iPhone, Mac and Windows come standard. Start from a template in the marketplace, and bring your data in from a CSV. AI employees answer calls, book jobs and work your records alongside the team. Roles decide which pages each teammate can open.

Integrations

Keep the tools that work. Your books stay in QuickBooks or Xero, payments in Stripe, your calendar in Google.

One price for the whole crew

Priced per workspace, not per user. Start free and move up when the business needs it.

Garage door software questions

What is Unstack?

A workspace your business runs in: the software your team uses every day, plus a phone line, email, a website, a customer portal, payments, team chat and AI employees. Start from a template or describe how you work, and the AI builder sets it up. One price per workspace, with unlimited users.

Is there a ready-made garage door template?

Not yet. You describe how your garage door business runs, from how jobs come in to how you get paid, and the AI builder sets up the tables, pages and automations in your workspace. Change anything later the same way.

Can I track technician GPS in real-time?

Staff can share their location from their phone, so you can see who is nearest and offer a job to that technician. Unstack doesn't do vehicle GPS tracking, live ETAs or route optimization.

Does it sync with QuickBooks for invoicing?

Yes. An automation can create the invoice with labor and parts when a job is completed and send it to QuickBooks Online. Customers pay through Stripe.

Can customers book appointments online?

Yes. Homeowners can book through an online scheduling page, and automations can send confirmations and job updates by text or email. Their history and invoices are in the customer portal.

How do I manage parts inventory across multiple locations?

Keep parts in an inventory table with a location and a reorder level. Technicians log parts used from their phone, and an automation can alert you, or email your vendor, when stock runs low.

Can I send warranty reminders automatically?

Yes. Set up automated campaigns that send SMS or email reminders for annual maintenance, spring checks, or warranty expiration dates. Unstack can also log which customers have active warranty coverage.

What if I need custom fields for our door types or services?

Ask the builder to add fields for spring type, opener brand, service category or anything else, and it updates your forms and views. No coding required.

Does it work on mobile for technicians?

Yes. Technicians use Unstack in their phone's browser or the iPhone app to see assigned jobs, open addresses in their maps app, take photos, log parts used and collect a signature. It needs an internet connection.

Do I pay per user?

No. Unstack is priced per workspace, so adding a technician or an office manager does not change the bill.
