The workspace brings the rest

Automations, phone, email, a website, a customer portal, invoices and payments, banking, chat, docs, version history and apps for iPhone, Mac and Windows come standard. Start from a template in the marketplace, and bring your data in from a CSV. AI employees answer calls, book jobs and work your records alongside the team. Roles decide which pages each teammate can open.

Integrations

Keep the tools that work. Your books stay in QuickBooks or Xero, payments in Stripe, your calendar in Google.

Electrical contractor software questions

What is Unstack?

A workspace your business runs in: the software your team uses every day, plus a phone line, email, a website, a customer portal, payments, team chat and AI employees. Start from a template or describe how you work, and the AI builder sets it up. One price per workspace, with unlimited users.

Is there a ready-made electrical template?

Not yet. You describe how your electrical business runs, from how jobs come in to how you get paid, and the AI builder sets up the tables, pages and automations in your workspace. Change anything later the same way.

Can Unstack integrate with our existing accounting software?

Unstack syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero. Connect your account and the builder can set up an automation that sends invoices and payments across, so they aren't typed in twice. Other apps connect through the integrations catalog, Zapier or the REST API.

How does real-time dispatch work for our field technicians?

Staff can share their location, so a new job can be offered to the nearest available electrician, and the builder can factor in skills. Technicians get a notification and update the job's status from their phone. There's no route optimization.

Can we track apprentice certifications and license renewals?

Yes. Keep certifications, licence numbers, insurance and training dates for each employee, and an automation can remind you before anything expires. Unstack keeps the records; meeting licensing rules stays your responsibility.

Does Unstack handle materials inventory and reordering?

Yes. Keep wire, breakers and conduit in an inventory table with a low-stock level on each item. If technicians log materials used on each job, an automation can lower the count and alert you when it runs low.

Can customers book service appointments online?

Yes. Customers book through an online scheduling page and can get an email or text confirmation. In the customer portal they see their jobs and pay invoices through Stripe.

How does time tracking and labor costing work on jobs?

Technicians log start and end times on each job from their phone or a computer. With labor rates stored by role, the builder can add labor cost to each job and its invoice.

Can we set up approval workflows for change orders and quotes?

Yes. Automations can pause for a person's approval, so a change order waits for a manager's sign-off, and customers can approve quotes with an e-signature.
