What a alarm monitoring workspace usually holds

The workspace brings the rest

Automations, phone, email, a website, a customer portal, invoices and payments, banking, chat, docs, version history and apps for iPhone, Mac and Windows come standard. Start from a template in the marketplace, and bring your data in from a CSV. AI employees answer calls, book jobs and work your records alongside the team. Roles decide which pages each teammate can open.

Integrations

Keep the tools that work. Your books stay in QuickBooks or Xero, payments in Stripe, your calendar in Google.

One price for the whole crew

Priced per workspace, not per user. Start free and move up when the business needs it.

Alarm monitoring software questions

What is Unstack?

A workspace your business runs in: the software your team uses every day, plus a phone line, email, a website, a customer portal, payments, team chat and AI employees. Start from a template or describe how you work, and the AI builder sets it up. One price per workspace, with unlimited users.

Is there a ready-made alarm monitoring template?

Not yet. You describe how your alarm monitoring business runs, from how jobs come in to how you get paid, and the AI builder sets up the tables, pages and automations in your workspace. Change anything later the same way.

Does this replace our existing CMS software?

No. Unstack doesn't receive alarm signals from panels, so it doesn't replace your central station software for monitoring. You can build the rest of the business on it: accounts, sites, service work orders, technician scheduling, monitoring billing and a customer portal.

Is this compliant with UL and NFPA standards?

No. Unstack isn't listed or certified under UL or NFPA standards, and meeting them stays your responsibility. You can use it to keep the records you need, such as inspection and test logs, technician licences and service history, with reminders before things fall due and CSV export.

Can we integrate with third-party alarm panels?

There are no built-in panel integrations. If your monitoring software or panel platform can send a webhook or has an API, an automation can receive the event and create or update a record in Unstack.

How do field technicians access their work orders?

Technicians open Unstack in their phone's browser or the iPhone app and see the work orders assigned to them. The builder can add what they need on site: status updates, arrival and departure times, photos, notes and a customer signature, with a notification when a job is assigned.

Can we use this for multi-location monitoring?

Yes. Add a location to your records and use roles and filtered pages so each station or branch sees its own work while owners see everything in one place.

How do we handle billing and recurring charges?

Payments run through Stripe. You can bill monitoring plans as Stripe subscriptions, send invoices for service work, and have automations send renewal and overdue reminders by email or text.

Can we export reports for audits?

You can export any table as CSV, and the builder can create report pages that filter your logs by date, site or technician. Whether a report satisfies an auditor or insurer is for you to confirm with them.

Do I pay per user?

No. Unstack is priced per workspace, so adding a technician or an office manager does not change the bill.
