Delete an app, a workspace or your account

You can delete an app, a whole workspace, or your own account. Deleting is permanent in most cases, so export anything you want to keep first.

Before you delete

Take a full export. In the app, open Tools, Data & API, Import / Export, then the Compliance tab, and click Export All App Data. See Import and export your data.

If you only want to stop paying, you do not need to delete anything. Cancel your plan and the workspace moves to the Free plan with your data kept. See Change or cancel your plan.

Delete an app right away

Only the app's owner can do this. There are two places:

You are asked to type the app's name to confirm. The app and everything in it are permanently deleted: tables and records, pages, automations, agents, chat, portal users and team members. Any active subscription is cancelled. This cannot be undone.

Schedule an app for deletion

If you want time to change your mind, schedule the deletion instead. Open Tools, Data & API, Import / Export, then the Compliance tab, and click Schedule App Deletion. Only the app owner can do this.

The app is deleted after a 30-day grace period. Until then you can return to the same tab and click Cancel Deletion to keep the app.

Delete a workspace

  1. In the Hub, click the workspace and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete this workspace and click Delete workspace.
  3. Type the workspace name to confirm.

This permanently removes the workspace, its plan and its AI credits. A workspace must be empty first. If it is not, you are told what is in the way. Move its apps to another workspace with Transfer to workspace…, or delete them, and remove the other members. Then come back.

Delete your account

Your account is your own sign-in. To delete it:

  1. Click your picture and open Settings, then Personal.
  2. Scroll to Delete account.
  3. If anything has to be resolved first, it is listed. Sort those out and come back.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

This immediately and permanently deletes your account, every workspace you own, and all of their data.

Leave without deleting

If you only want to stop being part of an app someone else owns, leave it instead. Open Tools, Team & Access, and use Leave app next to your name. The app stays as it is for everyone else.

If you own an app and want to step away, transfer ownership to another member first.
