What is Unstack?
Unstack lets you build the software your business runs on by describing it to an AI builder. This article explains what you get and the words you will see across the product.
What you can build
A CRM, a job tracker, an inventory system, a client portal, a point of sale. You say what you need in plain language, and the AI builder creates the tables that hold your data and the pages your team works in. You keep changing it the same way for as long as you use it.
Workspaces and apps
- A workspace is your company's home in Unstack. It holds your plan, your billing, your shared pool of AI credits and your team.
- An app is one piece of software inside a workspace. Each app has its own name, its own address (for example
yourcompany.unstack.us), its own tables and pages, and its own members.
A workspace can hold more than one app. How many depends on your plan. You move between your apps and workspaces in the Hub.
What is inside an app
- Tables store your records: customers, jobs, invoices, products.
- Pages are the screens people use to see and change those records.
- Chat is where you talk to the AI builder, to your AI agents and to your team.
- Docs and files hold written documents and uploads.
- Automations run work for you on a schedule or when something changes.
- AI agents are AI employees you create and give a job to.
Automations and AI agents are part of the Starter plan and up.
