Use Unstack on your phone and desktop
Unstack runs in a web browser, as a desktop app for Mac and Windows, and as an iPhone app. All three show the same workspace, the same apps and the same data.
In a browser
Sign in at unstack.us or at your app's own address. There is nothing to install. On a phone browser the layout adapts, with the App, Chat, Tools and Inbox tabs in a bar at the bottom.
The desktop app
Download it free from unstack.us/download.
- Mac: macOS 12 or later, for Apple Silicon and Intel.
- Windows: Windows 10 or later, 64-bit.
It signs in to the workspace you already have and updates itself. Compared with a browser tab you get:
- A badge on the Dock or taskbar and notifications from your computer, even when the window is closed.
- Camera and microphone permission granted once, so huddles start without browser prompts.
- Its own window and icon. You can have it open when you log in.
The iPhone app
Get it from the App Store. It is the same workspace in your pocket: check assigned work, update a record from the field, join a huddle, and get a push notification when something needs you.
A few things work differently in the iPhone app:
- You sign in with your email and password. Create your account on the web first.
- Plans, credit packs and paid templates are bought on the web at unstack.us. What you buy on the web applies to the same workspace in the app.
Android
There is no Android app. Use Unstack in your phone's browser.
Notifications when the app is closed
A notification from your workspace is delivered to your Inbox everywhere. It also arrives as a push notification on your iPhone if you have the app, and in any browser where you allowed notifications. You do not need to have Unstack open.
Your pages work everywhere
You do not build a separate mobile version. A page the builder makes works on the web, the desktop app and the iPhone app. If a page is awkward on a small screen, tell the builder: "Make the Jobs page easier to use on a phone."
