Connect an app such as Gmail, Slack or QuickBooks

Integrations let your automations and AI agents work with the other apps your business uses, such as Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets, QuickBooks and Xero. You connect an app once by signing in to it, and it is then available across your app.

Connect an app

  1. Open Tools in the sidebar and choose Integrations.
  2. Click New Connection. The "Connect an app" window opens.
  3. Find the app. The Popular tab shows the most common ones. The All Apps tab has the full catalog, with a search box and category filters.
  4. Click the app. You see a short description and its Available Actions, which is the list of things an automation or agent can do with it.
  5. Under Connect as, click Connect for team or Connect for me.
  6. A sign-in window for that app opens. Sign in and approve access.

When it finishes you see a confirmation and the app appears in your list of connections.

The two buttons decide who the connection belongs to:

Some apps show a Connect via choice between Pipedream and Zapier. These are the two services that carry the connection. Leave it on the recommended option unless you have a reason to change it.

Manage your connections

The Connected tab lists every connection with its status.

Above the list you may see apps your pages or automations already refer to but that are not connected yet, and apps suggested during setup. Connect them from there.

Activity

The Activity tab shows a log of what your connected apps have been used for. Check it when you want to confirm an automation or agent really did something in another app.

Ask the assistant instead

You can also just ask. Tell the assistant "connect our Slack" or describe an automation that needs an app, and it shows a connect button when the app is not connected yet.

Plan

Integrations need the Business plan or above. Stripe payments are separate and are available on every plan. See Set up payments.
