Get help and contact support
There are several ways to get help: the Help Center, the AI assistant inside your app, a support ticket, and a bug report. This article explains when to use each.
Search the Help Center
The Help Center is at unstack.us/help. Search for what you are trying to do, or browse by category. It also has developer documentation and a changelog of what is new.
From inside an app, click your picture at the bottom of the sidebar, then Support and Help Center.
Ask the assistant
The AI assistant in your app can answer "how do I" questions and can look at your own tables and pages while it does. Open the builder, switch the mode to Chat so it only answers, and ask. Because it can see your app, it is often the fastest way to find out why something is not behaving the way you expect.
Open a support ticket
Go to unstack.us/help/contact and fill in the form:
- Your name and email
- A subject
- A category: General Question, Bug Report, Feature Request or Billing
- A description
When you submit, you get a ticket ID. Save it.
Check on a ticket
Go to unstack.us/help/tickets and enter your email and the ticket ID. You see the ticket's status and details.
Report a bug from inside the app
Click your picture, then Support and Report a Bug. Describe what went wrong and the steps that led to it. The page you were on and your browser details are included automatically, which saves a round of questions.
Write a ticket that gets a fast answer
- Say what you were trying to do and what happened instead.
- Name the app and the page or table.
- Include the exact wording of any error message.
- For a billing question, include the invoice date and amount.
- Send it from the email address you sign in with.
Book a setup session
New workspaces are offered a free one-to-one setup session with an Unstack expert during setup. It is a good way to learn the basics and get your first app into shape.
See what changed
What's New in the Hub lists recent product updates, fixes and improvements. The same changelog is in the Help Center.
Is Unstack down
If the product seems slow or unavailable, check unstack.us/status for current system status and past incidents.
If your app was set up by an agency
If another company built and runs your app for you, your Support menu points to them. Contact them first.
